Events that are not organized by the core group Vienna, are independent events and the association hiking for peace assumes no liability for these events.
Next Event
Dear peace hikers,
on the 4th of May 2024, we will hike together for peace and we are happy, if you have time and come along with us!
We will meet at 10:45 a.m. at the Vienna Peace Pagoda (Hafenzufahrtsstraße F, 1020 Vienna), walk through Prater to Kaiserwiese, where we will arrive at 1:30 p.m. and make a break. Sylvia will bake cakes for everyone. At 2p.m. we are heading to Heldenplatz, where we arrive at 3p.m. and there you can listen to some speakers and WanDeRer Duo, who will play peace songs.

We will light a candle for more tolerance, environmental protection and world peace. We will end up with a picnic together.

Basics for hiking in Vienna with the core group:
Please chose your footwear carefully, and wear shoes with a good tread. The association accepts no liability for any accidents caused by poor choice of footwear or for any other reason. We will be hiking uphill and downhill, on concrete paths and forest paths with gravel. Please keep this in mind during the tour.
We will walk at a moderate pace. We want to walk as a group and set a sign for peace together. Therefore, we try not to walk scattered all over the place. We ask for your help in order to do this! We will always wait or slow down so that everyone can keep up.
Markus will walk in the front – please stay behind. At the end of the group Sabine, Maria and Sylvia take care, that nobody gets lost – please stay in front and tell them, if you need more time. If you have any health or other problems, please contact Isabella. She is a doctor and will help you.
Children and dogs are welcome. Dogs must be kept on a leash in Vienna. Every dog owner is liable for his dog.
The current Covid rules and general rules of conduct in the forest are assumed to be known and are to be followed by everyone. The association accepts no liability.
